STARTS APRIL 1ST 2026!
GENERAL INFORMATION
Attendance and participation is open to all.
Walks are typically 1-2 miles total.
Our walks take place in the high desert climate of Sedona, including elevated terrain and seasonal heat. If you have medical conditions, are not accustomed to walking at altitude, or have concerns about extended walking in warm temperatures, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before participating. Please bring water, sun protection, and listen to your body.
Feel free to walk in silence or engage others in polite, respectful conversation.
Feel free to walk ahead of the group at anytime. The Minister will purposely keep a slower pace to ensure everyone stays together.
If you're listening to music, please respect the peace of others and use headphones.
Please keep any smoking 20 feet from others to protect their peace and health.
IMPORTANT
FOOD: We recommend bringing a small snack to restore your energy during the walk.
WATER: We walk in the mornings, so the sun usually won’t be too much of a problem. However, we still recommend bringing enough water for up to two hours of walking in direct sunlight, just to be safe.
BATHROOM: Not all trailheads have restrooms available. Please plan accordingly.
EMERGENCIES: Make sure you begin your return walk to the trailhead/parking lot before your food or water supplies run out, and before you start getting tired, to avoid exhaustion or overheating. If you become unconscious while walking with the group, the minister will be required to contact Sedona Emergency Services, and you will be responsible for any charges related to your rescue.
